Welcome to Ms. King's 6th grade Math and Science Class.

I am so excited that we will be getting to know eachother this school year. 6th grade is an important year in you many years of education. This year we will be laying your math and science foundation, which will be used for many years to come. We will explore many new topics together by using hands on exploration. Math is something that I hold dear to my heart, I believe the understanding of why we do things in math is essential because you have to understand why you use things inorder for them to be meaningful to you.

You will enjoy yourself, but you WILL work hard. Be prepared to leave this room at the end of the year prepared for 7th grade and beyond. Good Luck and remember to STAY FOCUSED!!!!!
